Canada Goose presents Journey North
Wednesday September 5th, 2012Action! For more than two decades, Canada Goose parkas have been a staple on film sets anywhere it is cold – often referred to as the “unofficial” jacket of film crews, by industry insiders. Canada Goose is an official sponsor of the Best Canadian Feature Film Award at The Toronto International Film Festival® 2012. Celebrating our authentic relationship with the film industry, Canada Goose created “Journey North” – a trailer directed by award-winning Canadian director Nathan Morlando, which will air before each screening of the 26 Canadian films during the ten-day Festival.
To extend the “Journey North” experience beyond festival-goers, Canada Goose presents ‘Journey North’ an online contest that invites you to narrate your own story of adventure by developing a script for a 90-second video. Filmed on Pemberton Glacier in British Columbia, the trailer is a celebration of Canada Goose’s authentic role in the film industry.
The contest which opened on September 4th, gives you the chance to win an exclusive Toronto International Film Festival® VIP Package. This ultimate TIFF prize includes a professional recording of your script, tickets to TIFF events next year, and Canada Goose outerwear. Fear not- even if you are not named the grand prize winner, the top ten winners will also receive a runner up prize.
The contest is open to Canadian residents ONLY but international fans are given the chance to partake in writing their own script too.
